Eight varieties of cotton (Gossypium hirsutum) were examined for their flowering behaviour. Differences between varieties, weeks and inter action effects were highly significant. ‘AH080-222-1’, ‘CPD-105-3’ and ‘CPD-8-1’ appeared to possess faster rate of flower production with favourable trend of completing most of the flowering much earlier than the rest of the varieties added with good productivity.
