Wheat Project Directorates, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi-110 012
The durum varieties ‘NP 404’, ‘Bijaga Yellow’, ‘NI 146’, ‘A 206’ and ‘HD 4519’ were found to be carriers of Nel gene and the rust resistant aestivum varieties ‘II-62-3 (E 8667)’ and ‘CC-Tob2 (CPAN 1533), carriers of Ne2 gene.
