Seventeen varieties of wheat derived from different sources in India were tested under four different environmental conditions in Manipur State for their yield and stability. Varieties K 7411, K 7510, HP 1303, Sonalika, HP 1327 and HP 1102 could be utilised for cultivation under high yielding environments. HD 2233 and K 7402 could be good varieties for cultivation under stress environment specially prevailing under Manipur conditions.
