The effects of 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 kR gamma rays on P 10, P 24, P 288, P 293, P 585 and LC 76 and effects of combined and differential treatment of 0∙2% MES and gamma-rays on P 288 of Lathyrus sativus L. have been studied on pollen grains. The degree of sterility which was seen to vary from variety to variety, was observed to be linear with doses. P 585 has been found to be more drastically affected in comparison to other varieties.
