Abstract

It was observed that there are reciprocal difference, for pod setting when certain parents were used as females in intervarietal single crosses and back crosses of pigeon pea. Poor pod setting acted as dominant trait. Cumulative effect of parents on pod setting was also recorded in the back crosses.
