Mode of inheritance of seedling resistance to H sativum (Delhi-isolate) was studied in six crosses involving wheat varieties ‘Furtelaya’, ‘Maria Escobar’, ‘PI. No. 1094’ (TZ-PPXSK6 (E) LR 64A), ’ E 4957’. ‘HD 1660’ and ‘HD 1666’ as resistant and ‘Timgalen’ as susceptible parents. Resistance was observed to be governed by two complementary genes in all the crosses.
