Abstract

Karyotypes of Coccinia indica W. & A. (2n=24) was found to be of symmetrical type with a tendency towards asymmetry due to differentiation of X and Y chromosomes. Total chromatin length is 22.48 μ and the total form (T.F.)% is 42.17.
