Abstract

The genetics of liguleless character and hybrid necrosis was studied in two hexaploid wheats. The varieties WJR 52473 and WJR 52481 were found to be Ne1w—carrier and non-carrier respectively. The liguleless character was found to be governed by complementary recessive genes.
