Abstract

Thirtyone toria genotypes, grown in twelve artificial environments, were analysed for stability of days to maturity. All the genotypes were responsive towards environmental variations. In addition to predictable component, unpredictable component also shared the G×E interaction. Twenty eight genotypes were found unstable, only three genotypes PT-5, TCSU-7 and PT-330 were stable for days to maturity. Two genotypes TCSU-7 and PT-330 were found to be of commercial importance, since these exhibited high seed yield and stability for seed yield as well as for days to maturity.
