An analysis on genetic variability of 100 pea germ plasm, collected from different geographical sources, using Mahanolobis's statistical distance, suggested that the varieties could be grouped into 14 clusters. Grouping of varieties in different clusters was not related to their geographical origin. The maximum intercluster distance was observed between cluster I and XIV, followed by VII and XIV. Cluster XI was more diverse than others.
