The present investigation has been undertaken to study the inheritance of oval leaf spot disease caused by Ramuhspora sorghicola in forage sorghum. The Fi and F2 generations of ten crosses including reciprocals among one resistant, one moderately resistant and two susceptible patents along with their back-crosses and parents were evaluated during kharif, 1980. Susceptibility was partially dominant over resistance in most of the crosses. Single recessive gene was found to confer resistance against oval leaf spot, which results in moderate susceptibility in heterozygous condition.
