Abstract

Divergence studies were conducted earlier and 10 genotypes of peas (Pisum satyam L.) were selected for heterosis studies. These parents belong to different clusters as well as the same groups. There were 23 crosses of various combinations. Positive nonsignificant relationship exists between genetic divergence of the parents and hybrid performance for yield per plant.
