An Increase in Seed Set Between Wheat, Rye and Triticale Crosses By Gamma Irradiation

Seeds of wheat and triicale were irradiated with 15 and 30 kR doses of gamma rays. The treated seeds along with the controls were planted in a crossing block. Crosses were made and the seed set recorded. in all the crosses, seed set increased at 15 kR and decreased at 30 kR as compared to the control.
