Abstract

A plant with 15–16 bivalents was found in T. timopheevii. Its F1 hybrids with the normal plants having 14 bivalents also had 1–2 additional bivalents. Such plants also bad more chiasmata per cell. The additional bivalent in F, hybrids had only one chiasma.
