Abstract

The study was undertaken to examine the nature and magnitude of association of grain yield with other attributes in different environments in the crosses involving parents adapted to different crop growing conditions. The grain yield exhibited a high order of positive and significant correlation with ear number per plant, and biological yield in all the crosses and environments. However, it showed a low positive and negative correlations, respectively, with maturity and harvest index. The association of grain yield with other traits varied with environments and crosses.
