Abstract

A collection of 8 durum and 85 breadwheat stocks was tested for the presence of necrotic: genes. Of durum wheat stocks, 3 were Net carriers and 5 noncarriers. Among the breadwheat strains 58 were Ne3 carriers and 26 noncarriers. Only one strain of breadwheat, namely, Mokta carried Ne1 gene.
