Tolerance of Triticum monococcum to the herbicide isoproturon was transferred into the durum wheat (Triticum durum L.) variety PBW 34 through one back-crossing followed by selfing. The derived isoproturon tolerant pure lines are comparable to PBW 34 in grain yield and yield components. These lines can be effectively used as donors of isoproturon tolerance.
