Abstract

The studies were undertaken to find the effect of GA, NOA, and 2,4-D, as pre-sowing seed treatment on the growth and yield of cabbage. None of the treatments affected the height of the plants and the time taken for head formation. The weight of head was maximum at 50 ppm of GA (1.72 kg), followed by 2,4-D at 0.5 ppm(1.43 kg) and 2,4-D at 2.5 ppm (1.40 kg), as against 0.81 kg only under control.
