Two main periods of vegetative bud emergence were recorded in jackfruit trees i.e., January-February and June to October; out of which second period was the main.
Shoot length and diameter, number of nodes and leaves were recorded throughout the year at fortnightly intervals and some growth was observed throughout the year but two growth flushes were distinct i.e., July-September and March to May.
