An experiment was conducted to find out an easy method of clonal propagation of P. pashia by stooling and the results obtained were as under. Among the seven treatments the best treatment was IBA 600 ppm + Girdling. The percentage or rooting was 90 and 80 in IBA (600 ppm) treatment and IBA (300 and 900 ppm) and control respectively. Control i.e., ringing of the shoots alone has proved to be quite adequate for rooting in P. pashia by stooling while IAA treatments have shown adverse effect on rooting. The average number and length of primary roots were better in IBA (300 and 600 ppm) treatments and on the whole IBA treatments were better than IAA treatments.
