Must composition of 66 grape varieties in the old collection block of the Institute of Horticultural Research (I.C.A.R.), Hessaraghatta, Mysore State were analysed in March-April, 1970 and 1971. Based on these results, possibility of eight varieties for making red dry table wine, six varieties for making white dry table wine and two varieties for making red sweet table or dessert wine has been predicted. These varieties have been described briefly.
