Abstract

Studies were made on the effect of four herbicides, namely, Eptam, Stam F, Camparol and Knoxweed for infection, concentration and spread of PVX in C. pendulum as well as in potato plants. Eptam was found to be quite effective in reducing the virus concentration whereas Stam F was effective in checking the infection and spread of the virus.
