The chemical weed control and the weeding and interculturing were compared in onion. The results indicated that Tenoran application at the rate of 2.5 kg per hectare after 3–5 weeks of transplanting onion seedlings controlled many kinds of weeds and gave significantly higher yield than the control. But there were on significant differences, in yield between the Tenoran application, weeding alone and weeding and interculturing treatments.
