Abstract

A fertilizer trial on onion (Allium cepa L.) was conducted with 2 levels of nitrogen (N0-no nitrogen, N1-56.05 kg N/ha), 2 levels of phosphate (P0-no phosphate; P1-56.05 kg P2O5/ha) and 2 levels of potash (K0-no potash; K1-56.05 kg K2O/ha) in the Noncalcareous Dark Grey Floodplain series of Bangladesh Agricultural University Farm, Mymensingh. The application of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium significantly increased the onion yield.
