Abstract

The tree decline was maximum on trifoliate orange and minimum on Eureka lemon rootstocks. Highest percentage of chlorotic leaves was on Jatti khatti and minimum on grape fruit. Negligible percentage of green dotted and yellow-veined leaves was noted in Blood Red trees on all rootstocks. No acute variation in fruit size was observed. No significant differences were found regarding the incidence of curved columella in fruits raised on various rootstocks. A large number of fruits on each rootstock was found to be lopsided but differences between various rootstocks were not significant. Inverse colour break was not recorded at all on any of the rootstocks tried. Percentage of aborted seeds ranged from 44.31 to 50.00 on various rootstocks. The differences were, however, not significant.
