In general post budding application of IAA 25 ppm for budtake in combination with distilled water treatment for rooting gave the maximum percentage of ‘budtake’ and rooting in the present studies, proving thereby the usefulness of ‘graft cuttage method’ in the propagation of roses over the usual method of budding.
