Abstract

Some promising insecticides were evaluated in a field experiment against pest complex (thrips, jassid, leaf-roller, hairy caterpillar and chaffer beetles) of grape-vines and 4-spray schedule-Ist spray immediately after fruit set in March with malathion 0.05 per cent, 2nd spray in May (3–4 week before fruit ripening) with malathion 0.05 per cent or endosulfan 0.05 per cent or carbaryl 0.15 per cent; 3rd and 4th sprays after fruit picking in July-August and Sept.-Oct., with endosulfan or fenitrothion 0.05 per cent or carbaryl 0.15 per cent has been recommended.
