An experiment for finding out the response of four levels of nitrogen (40, 80, 120 and 160 kg N/ha) on the fruit size, fruit weight and number of fruits and yield per plant in five hybrids and one variety of brinjal was conducted. Among the hybrids T 2 x T 3 was found the most promising and among different doses of nitrogen 160 kg N/ha was found the beneficial for realising the yield potential of hybrid brinjal.
