Four treatments viz., irrigation at the time of flowering, manual removal of flowers, chemical removal of flowers and control were employed in guava to check fruiting in rainy season so as to get more fruits in winter season. All the treatments reduced rainy season crop and increased the winter crop, the most effective being manual removal. Among the chemicals NAD at 50 ppm followed by 2, 4-D at 30 ppm gave better results.
