Abstract

Effect of selected concentration of MH and GA i. e., 100 and 10 ppm were sprayed to see the effect of growth regulators on nutrient uptake and thereby correlating the effect on sex reversal. MH-100 ppm sprayed at two and four leaf stage significantly increased the percentage of nitrogen and calcium, while GA-10 ppm increased calcium percentage only. It is thus concluded that increase in calcium percentage increased the production of female flowers and ultimate yield in cucumber.
