Abstract

Seeds of pea, Dolichos, French beans, okra and pumpkin gave increased germination when stored after giving seed dressing with different fungicides. Ceresan dry, Captan and Thiram proved comparatively better on all the seeds. Mercuric chloride treatment was toxic on Dolichos. Seeds of okra and Dolichos could retain good viability upto one year even without treatment.
