Abstract

Observations on the incidence of Indarbela quadrinotata (Walker) on 37 culti-vars of Zizyphus mauritiana Lamk. during February-March 1975 revealed that Rohtaki Gola had the lowest number of total holes in February, and ZG4 had the lowest number of live holes in March, whereas Sanaur 1 had the highest number of total holes in February, and Illaichi had the highest number of live holes in March. However, a large number of the varieties showed incidence which differed only non-significantly from that in these 4 varieties. The average incidence of live holes per tree in the orchard was 2.64 ± 1.39.
