Border cropping in relation to the incidence of TLCV revealed that the incidence of TLCV can be reduced to a certain extent by planting 6 rows of either Sunnhemp or Maize as border crops. Border crop combined with three applications of dimethoate (0.05 per cent) as foliar sprays not only reduced the incidence of TLCV but also increased the yield of tomatoes significantly.
