Abstract

NOXA in lanolin paste and aqueous solution proved equally good in inducing higher percentage of fruit set as compared to the control. The percentage of seedlessness increased with the rise in concentration upto 15 ppm of NOXA. Partheno-carpic fruits were smaller in size and this resulted in reduction in weight. But the fruits became richer in carbohydrate and vitamin contents. The total yield was higher due to large number of fruit set.
