*Part XVI of the series appeared in the journal of scientific and Industrial Research sometime ago (February issue of 1953). Since then the work could not be continued till recently, since one of the authors, Sri R. L. Badhwar passed away and the other authors, Dr. P. S. Rao and Shri H. Sethi subsequently left the service of the Forest Research Instt., Dehra Dun. Now the publication of rest of the work will be continued in series and after its completion, the entire work will be published as a monograph.
