Abstract

The effect of different treatments on flowering, fruiting and fruit quality characters of peach is reported in this paper. Alar at 1000 and 2000 ppm concentrations increased fruit bud intensities, improved surface colour with no corresponding effect on fruit set, fruit drop and size. However, TSS in the first year and juice percentage in both years were significantly increased. Among other treatments potassium and phosphorus at the rate of 448 kg/ha increased yield over control significantly. All treatments increased titrable acidity of fruits in general.
