Citrus Dieback Disease Scheme, Shrirampur
The observations in respect of the influence of few growth regulators on germination count and growth rate of saplings of Rangpur lime observed critically, revealed GA and CCC to be non-conducive. IAA at 100 ppm used for soaking of seeds for 24 hours was observed highly effective in increasing the germination count with enhanced growth rate of saplings. IAA sprayed at 1000 ppm thrice at 10 days interval on 3 months old seedlings, more than doubled the growth rate. These treatments appear worth adoption by nursery trade.
