Abstract

An experiment was conducted in order to study the effect of GA 75 ppm and manuring alone and in combination on the growth, flowering, fruiting and yield of strawberry. It has been found that GA 75 ppm+manuring promote the vegetative growth highly significantly and also increases fruit yield significantly by making strawberry plants to flower and fruit earlier followed by the other treatments GA 75 ppm and manuring.

It can be concluded from the foregoing discussion that application of GA 75 ppm increases the yield of strawberry significantly but should be accompanied by heavy manuring to make its effect more pronounced.
