Tomato crop planted during the months of December to May are subjected to low rainfall, low humidity and high temperature which helped for high population of whitefly and high TLCV incidence resulting in low yield. Whereas the tomato planted during July to November are subjected to high rainfall, high humidity and low temperature, resulting in low whitefly population, low incidence of TLCV with better yield of tomatoes.
