Chemicals either growth regulator like Indole-3-acetic acid, -Naphthalene-acetic acid, 2, 4-Dichlorophenoxy acetic acid (2, 4-D) and base analogue 8-azaguanine did not have significant effect on decreased length of laterals, a characteristic symptom associated with tristeza alone or its complex from with greening on C. aurantifolia Var. Kagzi lime, but higher concentrations (50–75 ppm) of 8-azaguanine did cause reduction in severity of tristeza symptoms while there was no effect of this chemical on indicators infected with greening alone.
