Abstract

Ethephon produced maximum ethylene among all the growth regulators tested, followed by 2,4-D and BOA in Thompson Seedless grape leaves. GA3, CCC, mor-phactin. SADH tended to stimulate ethylene production but the effects were not significant. Maximum response to the application of growth regulators in terms of increased ethylene level were observed in half grown leaves except CCC and SADH which caused slight reduction.
