Abstract

Foliar N application at three levels was compared with soil N application in Jasminum auriculatum. Foliar N at 60 g per plant registered the highest yield increase (22.9 per cent) over control. Foliar N at 120 g increased the vegetative growth but flower yields were lower than in soil N with higher values for flower bud size. Foliar N application at 60 g per plant per year conferred a double monetary benefit of less fertilizer costs and additional income from increased flower output.
