Abstract

A survey to judge the micro-nutrients status of mango orchards Cv Deshehari around Malihabad (Lucknow) was conducted during March 1975 and 1976. It was found that most of the orchards were deficient in Zn contents. Cu, Mn and Fe contents of mango leaves were in optimum range. Cu, Mn and Fe contents were significantly higher in the leaves sampled during ‘off’ year as compared to ‘on’ year. This is an important factor which seems to have not been considered so far for devising critical limits.
