Abstract

The results of this experiment suggest that among dimethoate 0.04 per cent, malathion, 0.05 per cent and fenitrothion 0.04 per cent, dimethoate had a slight edge over malathion which in turn proved better than fenitrothion in controlling citrus psylla, mite, aphid and leaf-miner. Among malathion 0.03 per cent 4- DDT 0.1 per cent, endosulfan 0.04 per cent and endrin 0.02 per cent, malathion + DDT proved better than endosulfan which in turn was superior to endrin in controlling the pests viz., leaf-miner, white-fly and mite.
