The results indicated that the characters like days to runner formation, number of inflorescences, number of fruits, fruit length, fruit diameter and number of achenes showed positive correlations with the fruit yield. The number of runners exhibited negative correlation with the fruit yield. The other characters under study were not correlated with the fruit yield.
