Abstract

A pot culture experiment was conducted to study the effect of 4 levels of ESP (7,17,37 and 52) on leaf injury, survival, growth characters and mineral composition of 8 rootstocks of mango. Leaf enjury symptoms were related to ESP levels. High mortality was observed in all the rootstocks except Moovandan and Nekkare. With the increase in ESP level, growth characters, P, K, Ca and Mg contents decreased and N and Na contents of mango leaves increased.
