Central Mango Research Station, Lucknow-226006
The efficacy of four different bagging material viz., Butter paper, Newspaper, Polythene and Cloth bags on the fruit set of Dashehari × Gulabkhas cross in mango was reported. Paper bags gave higher initial fruitset but the number of fruits retained are low. Among all the bags, the polythene bags were found superior and suggested for use in hybridization work.
