Abstract

A nutrient study was conducted during September-December, 1978 in the acid lime orchards of Cuddapah, Nellore and Chittoor districts of Andhra Pradesh to know the macro and micronutrient status of healthy and chlorotic acid lime trees. The leaf samples were analysed for various nutrients. Leaves of healthy trees contained significantly higher amounts of Ca, Zn, Fe and Mn than the leaves from chlorotice trees P, Mg and Cu values showed no significant differences. Potassium content was higher in chlorotic leaves than healthy leaves.
