An attempt was made to correlate the leaf area with its linear measurements in Thompson Seedless grape. Length of the superior left lobe as measured on the ventral surface of the leaf correlated maximum with a determination coefficient of 70 per cent. Correlations were poor in log model. Multiple linear regression involving the lengths of the superior right lobe (12) and superior left lobe (13) resulted in the highest determination coefficient of 93 with the equation of—151.19+24.6 12+5.57 13. The above equation is recommended for the determination of leaf area of intact leaves.
