Kinnow Fruit Quality As Affected By Locations on the Tree

Physico-chemical characters of the fruits of Kinnow mandarin located at different sides of the trees were studied during 1979–80 at Regionol Fruit Research Station, Abohar, The studies revealed that the fruits located inside the tree contain less TSS and acid whereas those exposed in the sun had more total soluble solids, Vitamin C and quick colour development; resulting in their early ripening.
